Welcome to Maxillofacial Oncology & Reconstructive Surgery
MORS at JPS
The Division of Maxillofacial Oncology and Reconstructive Surgery is one of the busiest services in our department. Our clinic sees over 5000 patient visits per year and 10-20 new patients each week in need of our services. The surgical staff have extensive training and expertise in the treatment of head/neck tumors and the associated reconstruction.
Our Team approach
Oral & Maxillofacial surgery requires at least 4 to 6 years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. As oral and maxillofacial surgeons, Dr. Williams, Dr. Smith, or Dr. Barker manage a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth, face and neck regions. Dr. Kao, Dr. Stella, Dr. Warner, and Dr. Willams practice the full scope of oral and Maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from dental implant surgery and wisdom tooth removal to corrective jaw surgery and complex head and neck resconstruction. This also includes techniques designed to rebuild bone structure with minimal surgical intervention and optimal patient comfort. We can also diagnose and treat facial pain, facial injuries, fractures, facial skin cancer, and oral cancer.
